Tape Trading Rules
When trading with me, please follow the rules listed below (and I'll do
the same).
- No high-speed dubbing.
- Use only new Maxell XL-II tapes (or high quality, high bias
tapes for
110 minute lengths).
- Provide some sort of track listing.
- I prefer to mail tapes in their plastic cases. Let me know if this
is a problem.
- Enclose a note with your tapes or CDs about what's being traded (I
sometimes
have a hard time keeping track of everything).
- I now have a CD burner! Shows on CDs can be copied digitally, while shows
on DAT will be converted to CD through an analog AWE64 Gold sound card.
Notes for New Traders:
I've been receiving a lot of requests from new traders (people who
don't have anything to trade in return). I'm more than happy to help
people get started... just please do the following:
- Be sure you set up the trade with me first over e-mail. Do NOT just send me tapes!
- Include a SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope) for me to return
your tapes to you in.
- Unlike some traders, I do not do 2:1 trades (where you send 2 tapes
for every one you want). However, if the trade is for more than one or
two shows,
I would appreciate it if you'd include an extra blank or two for my
time.
- Finally, these tapes are intended as a supplement for true Moxy fans
and not as a replacement for their studio albums. For that reason, I ask
that you own all of the Moxy Fruvous albums (or at least be intending to
purchase some of the harder to find ones) before trading.
